If you ask me to call you on the hotel's number, please make sure you leave your FULL name and room number, as hotels will not connect me unless I supply the full name of the guest.
For overseas visits I would always need my return fare paid in advance plus a small deposit. Normally I do prefer to only visit overseas to clients known to me, so an initial meeting in the UK is preferable.
